Xiaomi 12 Lite will be available in at least four color variants – green, purple, pink and silver – according to a recent tweet from the Chinese tech company. The handset’s global launch was teased by Xiaomi earlier this week. The handset’s launch date has yet to be revealed, but the teaser had hinted at green and pink color options for the Xiaomi 12 Lite. The Chinese smartphone company also started accepting pre-bookings for the new handset in Azerbaijan earlier this month.

A new series of tweets by Xiaomi reported that the Xiaomi 12 Lite will be available in at least four color variants: green, purple, pink and silver. The tweets also mention that Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone will come with a “studio-level camera” and “featherweight slim design”, among other things. As a reminder, the handset’s global launch was teased by Xiaomi earlier this week. The launch date of the smartphone has not yet been announced.

Xiaomi also started accepting pre-bookings for the 12 Lite in Azerbaijan earlier this month. It was reportedly priced at AZM 999 (roughly Rs. 46,500) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

Price, availability of the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G

The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G listing was recently spotted on the Orange Espana site. The Xiaomi handset variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage is expected to have a price tag of EUR 506 (around Rs 41,000). The listing only includes the black color model.

According to the Orange Espana listing, the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will sport a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and 120Hz refresh rate. a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC associated with an Adreno 642L GPU. The Xiaomi 12 Lite’s triple rear camera setup with LED flash is said to be exemplified by a 108-megapixel main sensor. There could also be a 32-megapixel front-end shooter.

Xiaomi’s smartphone is expected to pack a 4,300mAh battery and support 67W fast charging. It is said to only have a USB Type-C port. For connectivity, the handset could support Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi 6. The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G is said to measure 159.30 x 73.70 x 7.29mm and weigh around 173g. The handset can be equipped with two Dolby Atmos certified stereo speakers. The 12 Lite is also expected to feature a multi-layer cooling system for efficient heat dissipation.
